YOWK LIFE UPDATE (3/4/26)
Yo!
I just wrote out this whole long post but it all deleted :') So here's take 2 lol. I've never attempted to write a blog-like thingy before so I don't really know what this should be but I just figured it might be cool for me to give random little YOWK life updates.
In regards to my music life, this has been a very, very exciting week!! On Monday, my first ever headline show at a legit venue got announced! On Wednesday, April 29th, I'll be taking on the X-Ray Arcade in Milwaukee with the help of Ace Parker, Suvi, & Matt Andrus and I can't wait! Last night, I saw the EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert film at the theatre and it honestly made me even more hyped up and inspired to bring the most insane, contagious energy I possibly can to that stage. I've also been GRINDING on setting up this website, a mailing list, getting some merch up and running, and all that fun stuff. While it's been quite tedious and stressful as I try to learn about all this stuff while doing it for the first time, it's also felt very gratifying to be taking more steps towards the future of my music career.
I've also had a pretty active and fun week in my personal life too! On Monday, we celebrated my dad's bday as a family and that was quite lit. Last night, my girlfriend and I finished How I Met Your Mother and I am #heartbroken it's over. I know a lot of people hate on the ending but I honestly thought it was a very perfect, fitting ending for the characters and for the overall narrative of the series. Such a goated show though man I wish I could watch it for the first time again right now. Later today, I'm gonna make my buddy start watching the 97' Berserk series with me and I'm very excited to ruin his life forever with it. I also have the day off on Friday so I have a nice long weekend ahead of me! I'll most likely see Scream 7 with my girlfriend on Friday and take her out to dinner :)
I don't know how often I'll do these silly little life updates but I figured it'd be a fun way for us to connect! I'm feeling very, very blessed and thankful to be alive this week and if you read all of this I'm very grateful for you hahaha! Anyways, I hope anyone reading this is having a lovely day.
